2010: At the Movies

Posted by · 5:17 pm · December 17th, 2010

This time last year, we featured a nifty video summation of 2009 in film by one Zack Young, and today, he’s been good enough to hook us up with the 2010 edition. Nice work, Zack.

Pretty good, but I like the flow of Shapiro’s “2010: The Cinescape” better.

What Speaking English said. Also like Filmography 2010 more, but this is good as well. Its nice to see so many people passionate about the films of the year whether good or bad. We all love storytelling and if we didn’t have it I think it would actually have a great impact on us.

2010 Cinescape is a lot better than this one. The editing on this is well done, but the way that Cinescape matches images, with the rhytm of the song is an amazing achievement. I can’t feel not excited at seeing that video.
This one doesn’t make feel a thing. (Maybe too much songs, with almost none feel of cohesi0n with the images)
    IMO of score.

I, on the other hand, love the change-up in rhythm and song (especially the tick-tick-tick part) – more dynamic, fluid, filmic. (I’ve seen 2010 Cinescape and Filmography 2010 and enjoyed them too.)

No Twilight Saga:Eclipse but D- turkey Splice gets 3-4 scenes? Sorry but this is biased crap. No matter what you think of Twilight it deserved to be in the reel. Splice could`ve been scrapped entirely because it was complete bomb and the worst movie of the year.

Nice editing but Splice love and Twilight sbub offended me deeply.

Thanks Jacob! Not sure i can do this again… it drains about 50-100 hours solid to work with frames that were already edited :)

That’s fun – let this kid give a stab at some of the Oscar montages this year.
