Ford does Letterman

I’m not all that high on Roger Michell’s “Morning Glory” or Harrison Ford’s gravelly-voiced portrayal of a curmudgeonly news man, but I enjoyed his sit-down with David Letterman last night.  Part two after the jump.  (Mike Ryan, meanwhile, charts the actor’s response to “Star Wars” questions throughout the years at Movieline.)

“Morning Glory” is all kinds of bad – I can’t believe what’s been going on at Hollywood Elsewhere for the last week.

When did Harrison Ford start morphing into Leonard Nimoy?

Looking forward to his performance in Cowboys and Aliens. I’ve always thought Ford would make a great villain, and now I get to see if my hunch was right.

I felt like I was the crazy one for a while there, Chase.

I love actors and greatly admire their talents, none of which I share. But there are a select few who, when I see them in movies, I wonder, “How did they ever get cast?” Jodie Foster and Harrison Ford at tops on that list.
