‘Rabbit Hole’ poster

Friday we got a look at the trailer for John Cameron Mitchell’s “Rabbit Hole.” Today, courtesy of Awards Campaign, we get the first poster, which I’d say clashes with the tone of the film somewhat.  Have a look at the full image after the jump.

Clashing with the tone or not, this is one beautiful poster!

Won’t get the mainstream crowd running to see it, though… But that was never an option anyway, I guess.

It looks very surreal, which a film called rabbit hole should be I guess. I like it, and the trailer intrigued me, but something tells me this is going to be a very low-key and minor arthouse film thing and not something that will be making more than $10mil at the b.o. (not saying that matters at all…)

Very well done… I like the side view of Kidman’s face in the title text…

    Nice :).

I bet there will be another quoting excerpts from reviews coming soon.

Beautiful poster, although I can see how it clashes with the tone of the film…maybe a different color scheme (rather than the sky blue sky) would have made it perfect.

Don’t know much about the film… only from its trailer. But this is a stunning poster. Saw it yesterday here, of course, and I was still thinking about it this morning.
