    I watched the Gloria Allred press conferences… it was actually laughably ridiculous. I don’t even think Gloria believed half the things that came out of her mouth.

    Between this and Eastwood’s documented refusal to work with the screenwriter on Invictus, I’m not really sure if Eastwood really cares that much about his stories.

    Also, note how Spielberg actually took the time to think and improve the screenplay he wasn’t even directing whereas Eastwood clearly felt it was “good enough” as is.

    Telling difference this is.

    To be fair, apparently the same thing happened with Million Dollar Baby that Eastwood shot an early draft Haggis wanted to revise, and it worked there.

    Also, maybe its just me, but I’ve always felt Bening probably does belong as supporting in The Kids Are All Right. It seemed to me like Moore had much more screentime and her character’s actions really drove the story forward. Plus, as the article mentions, Ruffalo may well have a bigger part than Bening.
