Nathaniel Rogers gets delightfully painstaking with Oscar trivia, notes that, should Jesse Eisenberg be nominated for Best Actor, he’ll boot Matt Damon from the list of top 10 youngest nominees in the category. [The Film Experience]

I love Rosamund Pike, and I keep waiting for her to get the attention she deserves. She was one of the best things about An Education.

Hell, she was the best thing about Die Another Day in my eyes. That movie was a mess, but I’ve been a fan of hers since then. I’m so glad she’s at least getting some critics behind her.

Either I’m forgetting something or Matt Damon was never nominated in the best Actor category. I’m pretty sure his “Inviction” nod was in the Supporting Category.

I agree. Pike was my favorite performer in Dagenham as well. Disappointed that Richardson is getting all the talk in supporting. Must makes ammends that Oscar loves the showy and I prefer the subtle.

Damon was born on Oct 8th. Eisenberg on October 5th. So wouldn’t that mean Damon was younger?
