‘Fur of Flying’ clip

Posted by · 9:23 am · September 23rd, 2010

If you go see “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” this weekend, you’ll be treated to one of the new stereoscopic 3D Warner Bros. cartoons, “Fur of Flying.” A clip of the short has been lingering on the net for a while and I never got around to posting it, so I figured today was as good a time as any.  I can’t wait to sse it (and the other shorts WB has been cooking up.)  Maybe we’ll be seeing it pop up in the Best Animated Short race.  Take a look at the clip after the jump.

Uh, Kris. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk or anything, but is this really deserving of an entire post?

Duncan: Is anything worth a post? I mean in the grand scheme of things.

This looks like a rip-off of 127 Hours.

The Looney Tunes are cinematic icons. Of course, they deserve a post.

It’s a shame that the three shorts Warner made are attached to three films I have little interest in seeing.

Why wouldn’t they attach one of them to Inception? It wasn’t unusual, in the older days, for a Looney Tunes cartoon to be shown prior to a Casablanca or a White Heat.

I love the Looney Tunes! I’m glad WB is giving them the silver screen treatment again

@Estefan: Yea, but in the old days, we used to drive Pintos. Some traditions are best left in the dust. For me, it would’ve been tonally off-setting.

hahahaha, I would love if they had Warner Bros. cartoon shorts before all of their movies, even serious Oscarbait, thrillers, and crime films. Serious mood whiplash, but it would kind of rock.
