‘I’m Still Here’ trailer

In case you’re interested in the Casey Affleck documentary about his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix’s attempt at a rap career and either serious-as-cancer or totally put-on downward spiral, the trailer for “I’m Still Here” has landed at Yaho0! Movies.  But is it just me or is this whole thing all a bit stale already?  How long ago was the Letterman appearance, anyway?  And the weird red carpet interview?  Oh well, check out the trailer by clicking the image below or watch the embed after the jump.

The poster still looks awesome, though.

Joaquin was a pretty good actor. This whole situation, real or fake, has me very confused.

If it is fake, can’t we just appreciate what they’re trying to do instead of getting all defensive about it and calling Joaquin a douchebag? (I’m referring to comments on other websites).

thanks tony rock. if it really all was “fake” then that doesnt mean it was all just some silly hoax. don’t people realize that this film could possibly be about so much more than just Joaquin Phoenix? personally, i like to think that it is, and that the person who we all watched in that Letterman interview was much more of a character or a role than he was a real person

i dont think its fake, and i am looking 4ward to it. funny how people will call Borat a genius yet dismiss probably our finest young actor in Mr Phoenix.

Looks extremely forced (as in fake) to me.

But that doesn’t mean it might not be entertaining!
