Well, not really. But it’s a better song than The Beautiful South’s “Rotterdam Or Anywhere.”

Hup Holland Hup, and all that. I’m off to my friendly local beer garden. How are you celebrating World Cup Final Day?

Easily one of the best songs of the last decade. But this is Spain’s to lose!

We’ll see. (50% Dutch blood in my veins slightly impairing my objectivity.)

Hoping that this World Cup final lives up to the exciting month that just passed by. Well done, South Africa. FIFA, get better referees and video technology for Brazil 2014.

I’m calling it for Spain: 2-0.

At least, there will be a new world champion.

I was with friends. This was too tense. Now everyone is sad and life returns to normal tomorrow. I gotta catch up on some movies…

WOW! That was a great match or what?

Congratulations to the new world champions.

P.S. I was rooting for Germany, but the Spanish totally deserve it.

I can’t believe there are people who actually thought that was a boring game, though. Unbelievable.

Most of the yellow cards were ridiculous.

The match was good but not great, nervous rather than tense. I was supporting the Dutch though Spain probably deserved to win.

But like my local newspaper proclaims, SA was the true winner.

It was a GREAT game in which the Netherlands played Kung Fu.

Spain deserved it (and for much more than 1-0)

I was tense but poor. I can’t imagine any neutral viewers being enthralled with it.
