The occasion of Russell Crowe saddling up to a film version of “The Equalizer” (ironically announced the same day studios were supposedly clamoring for original material), is an excuse for nothing more than an embed of the opening credits sequence from the 1980s series.  I always thought it was badass.

    Gah! one of the best intros ever. Stuart Copeland’s music – the full length “The Equalizer Busy Equalizing” – is utterly captivating and fantastic.
