I definitly see Amelia more than the Blind Side — in fact, I don’t know if has the umph that even Seabiscuit had.

Although, if market right — I think people could see it, and if people see it it will get some Oscar attention.

I think I’m actually most interested in Malkovich’s performance — he seems like this could be his chance back in the spotlight if it get’s positive attention.

Diane Lane should play Katherine Anne Porter in a biopic. She looks perfect in mid-century period clothes and hair. (But as for this movie: Horses? Blech.)

Jason, I think he means the spectacular race. I love the story of Secretariat(he was born about 5 miles from where I live) but I do not have much confidence in this movie. Whoever gave the go-ahead for the first few lines about eating up the ground needs to find a new line of work. It also makes Lucien Laurin look ridiculous. The problem is that so much of this horse’s life is documented on YouTube that the major inaccuracies of this will not be appreciated by a broader audience than those of Seabiscuit by people who who had actually read the book.
