Is “Iron Man 2” really just 10 days away? This is the buzziest thing I’ve seen about it.

You’re right, 10 days away from Iron Man 2 feels nothing like 10 days away from The Dark Knight felt.

    Who cares about Iron Man?

Seriously, when the buzz for your film is about one of your stars getting punched in the face, you know you’ve got a dud on your hands.

I hope the pace of the storytelling in IM2 isn’t too fast for Robert Downey, Jr. God forbid, he doesn’t get the plot.

I’ve been watching all the NBA playoffs games and nearly every commercial that’s not for the Avatar DVD is for Iron Man 2. But yeah, I have no doubt that IM2 will do really well at the box office, but if it surpasses TDK opening weekend numbers I will be surprised.

    @ Mark Kratina: **Whooooosh!**

Did you hear that? That was the sound of a joke going way over your head.

I’ve been avoiding tv spots lately because they’re revealing too much of the action scenes.

It’s interesting to know that that many people do not like Paltrow though, didn’t know that.

    @ Robert:

I figured. I didn’t bother to watch the video, but I took the Gwyneth face punch at face value and ran with it. Not a Marvel or Downey, Jr. guy.

But the joke must originate from somewhere, right? Like real hatred for Paltrow?

Next time I’ll watch the video. : ) Still, never a bad opportunity to zing Downey, Jr. and Marvel.

“Hatred” is probably a little strong, but a quick butchers at Goop should make clear why many find her irritating.

    I’m fine with her, mind.

I was a huge fan around the time of Seven, Emma and Shakespeare in Love but then she had to go and win an Oscar and start making crap films. She was never the same after that.

She used to be my favourite actress and then she lost me (I’m pretty sure she lost herself, too).

I still have a place for her in my heart and I’m really happy I will see her with Wisnlet (my currently favourite) in Contagion (sharing or not sharing scenes) but I was sad that she left the Danish Girl.

It’s offtopic but not that much because the title describes the reason I’m posting this.
Sam Worthington tipped as next James Bond.
    The horror!!

Worthington actually auditioned for “Casino Royale” years ago.

This is just bored bookies spinning their wheels. Nothing will come of it.

Come on people, she’s playing a character, GOOP Gwyneth isn’t the real Gwyneth, the real Gwyneth would never be that out-of-touch with le peuple. She’s the one laughing at all these people coming to her blog, as if they had nothing better to do than lashing out at some Hollywood celeb who they think is a liberal snob.

PS : Only the Pilates bit is real
