Nicolas Chartier’s Oscar acceptance speech

I stumbled across this at YouTube this morning and thought I’d share.  “The Hurt Locker” producer, as you know, was locked out of the Kodak by the Academy, punishment for EmailGate.  He attended a private viewing party for the film last night with friends and someone was shrewd enough to take a video, so if you’re interested, here are his sentiments and his list of thank yous:

Chartier and Summit played dirty and got away but so did New Line Cinema think they can get away with robbing LOTR crew of its money. Now NLC is gone because what goes around comes around and the same will happen to Summit and Chartier.

So, how long is this schtick going to last? You were amusing for a while, but now it’s just getting annoying.

We get it. Go cash your paycheck. The season is over and you can stop working, “ninja.”

When unnecessary reminder of HL existance aka HL overkill coverage stops. I can`t wait to move on to stuff deserving of the hype, trust me.

However, first thing first. Chartier is a disgusting human being. His acceptance speech shows that his “appology” for foul play was as fake as 90% of boobs at the ceremony. Now lets sit back and enjoy this moron`s deserved fall which is so bound to happen.

Ninja. THE HURT LOCKER IS THE WINNER OF 6 ACADEMY AWARDS INCLUDING BEST PICTURE, repeat that to yourself so you can finally settle down. The vendetta against The Hurt Locker did not paid off.

Despite the fact that I rooted for The Hurt Locker to win and I’m glad it won the awards it deserved, this Chartier guy sounds like an ass. Too bad his name didn’t get taken off the list of producers.
