Congratulations to our pool winners!

Rogelio Tec was the big winner in our Oscar pool, correctly guessing 20 of the 24 categories and dominating the tie-breaker by guessing the show’s length within two minutes.

Dillon Green and Kevin Manganaro are the runners-up, also guessing 20 each, so I’ll offer up a prize for you guys, too.  If you’re reading, please email me with your contact information.

Thanks to everyone for participating and to the guys at Awards Picks for a truly great Oscar season service.

Great job indeed, I went with my heart too many times, but I got the show length correct. :)

The screenplays were everyone’s downfall. Hey, at least we got two interesting upsets to talk (or in the case of ninja, cry like a baby) about.

The Hurt Locker for screenplay wasn’t really the upset it’s being painted as. Just looking at the Gurus chart, it seems it was the consensus pick.

What’s most annoying is that I sat here all day yesterday thinking about changing to THL in screenplay and didn’t.

Big surprise for Adapted Screenplay, but my downfall were the shorts. All of miner were wrong. Also I put Avatar as winning both sounds fearing a different split than perceived

    Congrats to the winners!

I got my ass kicked: both screenplays and all three shorts incorrect. Bargh.
