    Give that man the Oscar.

As if I needed more reasons to love Hans Zimmer. He’s just plain awesome. Should have won last year for The Dark Knight, instead of Slumdog Millionaire’s “score” (if it can even be called that). Personally, I know either Giacchino or Horner will win this year, but this is my favorite score of the year BY FAR.

Too fucking cool. I’d love it if more movies did this to campaign for their Best Original Score Oscar.

That was just awesome. So much more original and vivid than other music videos.

Downey Jr is such a cool guy from the looks of things.

The score is terrific, but FMF’s one is my favourite.

I just don’t hear it. To me it’s a fairly simplistic and derivative tune that really does not deserve that much attention.

Not trying to ruin anyone’s fanboy moment here. If you like it go for it. But there’s better, much better out there.

Agreed. Zimmer’s score breathes an energy and spirit into Sherlock Holmes in much the way Anton Karas’ zither did in The Third Man.

really really cool… the music actually makes me want to see the movie, and that is one of the biggest compliments I think I can pay a score.
