    I thought Cameron was much funnier in that Titanic alternate ending SNL skit a little over 11 years ago.

    Wow, those green screen effects must have been so hard to do. If SNL can do it in one week?… And make it more entertaining? Is it really best picture material?

    I gotta say, I’m glad to see that James Cameron at least has a sense of humor. The end bit about “unobtanium” was kind of funny. At least he can acknowledge how ridiculous it sounds (don’t worry, we’ve had the discussion before that it’s a real scientific term — still sounds silly). I kind of wish that Cameron could have been that aware with Avatar — if it could own up to its own ridiculousness every once in a while (and I don’t mean in a Crank sort of way — more of an original Star Wars sort of way), it would have been a much more enjoyable film.
