    I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it would be to see Jarvis Cocker get an Oscar nomination.

    Oh, well. The solo album’s still great.

    I know it’s not appropriate comparing it to Elliott Smith’s nomination for “Miss Misery” from Good Will Hunting for multiple reasons, but it’s the first that comes into my head. Maybe it’s just that common indie rock thread and me being sick to death of what this category has offered this decade (Swell Season notwithstanding).
