Is that the best wig they could afford for Susan Sarandon?

i totally agree with you adam, but i think i have an explanation: they spent all their money in trying to make mark wahlberg look the way he did en boogie nights.
and it is just me or rachel weisz is simply too beautiful to play a suffering mother??maan my mom doesn’t look like that at least.

anyway, susan sarandon is gorgeous. YES, even with that hair thing

Go back to England, Guy, don’t spread your misery on us Americans.

And get a real name while your at it. Were your parents so uncreative that they saw a penis and decided to call you “Guy”?

Whoa, stop the hatin’, would you!

Those few snippets I saw here certainly looked great, but I too need to see more before I can judge it.

ET and their inaccurate descriptions, the killer she hunts from the grave? seriously?

I can’t wait to see the trailer for this, it is in my top 3 movies to see this year.

So much unnecessary hate and burning. I know we’re all excited, for sure, but Guy does have a point. You really can’t tell if it’s worth anything with just this much.

Well, I’m exited and I loved what I saw, what can I say, I’m easy to convince…

But yeah, enough hatred and sillyness… It’s stupid

Not enough footage to judge, but at least it’s going to look pretty.

I liked what I saw but I know that doesn’t say much. I really liked the music. Is it the orignal score of the film or did someone recognize it?

Looks nice, but that not enough to decide if it looks good.

And to the rude, hotheaded people out there; the last thing In Contention needs is their counterpart to Afrika from AwardsDaily.

The visuals…whoa, looks really great. Tucci…creepy as hell. But damn thats an annoying voiceover.

looks beautiful and suitably intense, but I’m worried that PJ will repeat his slo-mo abuse from King Kong… granted , he doesn’t reach Zack Snyder’s levels of abuse, but it annoyed me a lot in Kong.

    Lev is wise here.

And Bob, I actually think it would have been rather creative of my parents to name me after a penis, but sadly that’s not the case.

Anyway, no malice intended on my part. Peace and love, etc.

Were you named after a Russian Spy?*

    That is weird parenting.

It makes being named after a children’s TV character so much easier to cope with.

By the way that’s an appalling clip.

Am I the only person who watched it and thought I never want to see a TV programme as crass as Entertainment Tonight?

    Guy Lodge said...

Indeed I was, BJT … my brother and I both. It’s a long story.

Oh, and upon further investigation, Kris’s nifty photoshopping pairs me with the wrong Guy (Liddell). I’m happy to say my namesake (Burgess) is slightly more glamorous.

Alright, I ask a question about the music and everyone ignores me. Another guy tells Guy to move to where he already is and then confuses the inspiration behind the name Richard with that behind Guy and everyone is like “ooh, that’s worth commenting on”. Does anyone know if the music is from the actual film score?

    Kristopher Tapley said...

I’m guessing no, Jim. We all basically know as much as you do on this at the moment.

Kris, I meant that if it was a well known piece of music like the one in the Reader trailer (divine music), someone might have known it. I guess that means it’s probably original.
