Kind of reminds me of TCCoBB. Like Cate Blanchett in blue and with pumped up lips.

I find it interesting that they’re going with “From the director of ‘Titanic'” rather than “A James Cameron film” for the tease. Does Fox not think the masses will recognize or appreciate Cameron’s name? They built an entire season of “Entourage” around this guy.

Besides, couldn’t the mention of “Titanic” be counterproductive, given the extreme negative backlash it seems to have received over the last decade or so? Don’t get me wrong, I firmly believe “Titanic” is a great movie, but whenever I say that to people, they call me all sorts of names.

My friend Ronnie is trying to scare me and insists that Avatar will shock us all by dominating this Oscar season. So any negativity like this only delights me w/ the possibilities of fail.

Cameron better not get in the way of his ex-wife potentially making history!

and jeremy – i do not think the average avatar viewer new who james cameron was until vince said he loved titanic. in fact, they probably still don’t know. (not that i’m knocking entourage viewers..as i am one of them)

That is dismal. The fact that it’s an image that’s been slathered all over the web for ages now, combined with that chintzy typeface, gives it an awful fan-made look.

wow i totally meant to say ‘entourage viewer’ not ‘avatar viewer’.

Ha, no worries, I understood what you meant. And I guess you’re right — most “Entourage” viewers are likely more familiar with Leighton Meester than Cameron or Gus Van Sant. (And I suppose I’m insulting myself here, as I’m also a religious, if somewhat disgruntled, weekly “Entourage” viewer.)

I was gonna say, people are still tuning in?

I’m glad you mentioned this though. I just recalled Jeremy Piven’s deliciousssss Emmy snub, leading the way for a potential Neil Patrick Harris victory <3.

Other than the fact that it might have the most beautiful shade of blue I’ve ever seen in anything ever, it’s an awful poster, really. Ooooooo, stare me to death, why dontcha?

jeremy- religious yet disgruntled is a pretty perfect way to describe myself as well, in terms of entourage fandom. whenever they make references to any credible, talented director or screenwriter or whatever, as much as i appreciate it, i feel like they are just trying too hard.

i even felt like the boys knowing anything in the first few seasons felt kind of fake.

as much as i love neil patrick harris, i still feel a protective love over jeremy piven. i know i shouldn’t. plus, ‘how i met your mother’ annoys me.

It looks like the face was widened with a haphazard paintbrush, which really undoes the brilliant hue of blue and any hints of intrigue. Incidentally, the typeset is identical to the one used for the titles in the cartoon version of “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, which is odd given the (resolved) conflict between the titles for its movie version and Cameron’s “Avatar”.
