I love Family Guy but hasn’t this joke become too old?

I agree, they’re really starting to seem a bit cloying lately, this act of theirs is becoming a little trite. And I loved those first three seasons too.

As long as it remains true, I’d say no.

Being from Rhode Island, Family Guy has gotten on my nerves like no other show I’ve seen. That being said, that is a fairly clever FYC.

It says something that this FYC ad is probably the most clever thing Family Guy has done in years. What used to be a cult-comedy smash has become…well, bad. The first few seasons (and the first season it came back to FOX) were dynamite. Now I’m lucky if I get one chuckle out of an ep.

But back on topic, a funny FYC.

Tell me about it. But if we’re being honest, I haven’t liked the show since it came back after that first stab in the late 90s. Yeah. I know.

Family Guy had its moments this year. Stewie on steroids and the one with the Next Generation cast were both pretty damned funny.

And isn’t the point not just whether its at its peak but that it’s still funnier than probably half of what will be nominated again, i.e. Two and a Half Men and all that shit?

As long as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the funniest show on television, gets no respect, I say to hell with the comedy Emmys.

Do the Emmys even have a Holocaust bias?

Yeah, I don’t care how out of touch people think AMPAS voters are…they don’t have a thing on the Emmy guys.
House for Best Drama? Every freaking year?? Really??

oh god I forgot surfin’ bird. I watched that literally a day after my latest viewing of Full Metal Jacket, where that song is featured creepily.

Every season past 3 has gone down hill.
