Okay the movie is probably a milestone in Disney history, but not because of its standalone quality. It’s a nice film on itself but within the whole Disney catalogue it is a new beginning.

Much to my surprise, I really enjoyed it. I found it very fresh and very likeable. And of course Rhino the hamster deserves his very own movie.

Sorry Kris, can’t back you up on this one. And I’m sorry, but Rhino is one of the most grating animated characters I think I’ve ever seen.

I saw this at the $1 theater a couple of months ago. A lot better than I thought it was going to be.

My favorite part was the 1st act with the dog being unaware that it was a TV show. The rest is a standard road trip and reunion.

If it ever goes on sale for $10 (not likely since Cars still hasn’t dropped from $19.99), I’ll pick it up.

The only “unpleasant” part of watching Bolt was me being aware that I’m a 29 year old guy sitting by himself in a movie theater full of kids watching a kid’s movie. I’m sure a few parents were wondering why I was there.

Zac, I feel with you man. Luckily there was an even older man, more fitting of the description “dubious” there so I didn’t really stand out :D.
All those Pixar dvds are basically always the same price, it’s the only dvds in the world that always sell steadily since there’s always new kids discovering them. Their marketing regarding dvds is just the best.
