Is all the text on this site showing up center-aligned for anyone else? It’s been like this for me like three weeks. I can’t be only one this is happening to.

Not noticing it on my end. Can you tell which post started the problem?

I just looked back like seven pages, and it doesn’t look like any specific post is causing it. I also just noticed that it’s only happening in Internet Explorer, if that helps.

Yeah, IE blows. Go with Firefox or Safari. Weird that it randomly started happening, though.

I embarrassingly admit that I’ve never seen Do the Right Thing. I plan on rectifying that sometime this year though.

On another note, it was 35 years ago today (3-24) that Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon was released.

Hmm, it’s also 10 years since “Summer of Sam.” Going by that schedule, we’re due another masterpiece from Lee this year. I suspect that’s not happening.

Basinger was right. This should have won the Academy Award for Best Picture in ’89.

Here’s another movie that joins The Dark Knight in the category of ‘Great Movies That Were Snubbed by the Academy’.

    When will they learn?

Yep. We are few, but wise.

Actually, I think “Sam” is his best film. That certainly hasn’t made me popular.

Do The Right thing is my favorite movie of the 80’s behind Raging Bull. This scene alone should have won Spike Lee Best Original Screenplay. Do The Right Thing is clearly the Best Picutre of 1989, which wasn’t even nominated. Wow!!!

AMPAS needs to go back in a time machine and give the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay to Do the Right Thing. At least they could’ve nominated Ossie Davis for best Actor..

No need to cry about. Spike’s still a great director. I’m a big of Summer of Sam also.
