Daylight robbery

Thanks to some living, breathing piece of shit who thinks it’s somehow acceptable to break into people’s houses and help themselves, I have been relieved of my laptop. So I’m afraid I’m going to be pretty scarce around here for a little while. See y’all soon.

That’s awful. I’m really, really sorry. I’d be livid. I don’t understand how someone could sleep at night. I’m sure it’s a rush when they’re doing it and there’s a joy in easy money but how would that not eat away at you?

As a fellow Londoner I often worry about this happening, and your experience shows me my worry is not misplaced! So sorry to hear it Guy – your written work is so sharp and enjoyable to read that I hope you’re not out of action for long – and I hope you enjoy an accelerated laptop ‘bailout’ ASAP.

Sucks Guy. why couldn’t it be Kris.. or John? Or maybe it was by Kris or John. They should be barred from posting until this is resolved.

I’ve been there, feel your pain. Three years back some punks broke into my house left with computer, 50 dvds, dig. camera, & camcorder.

    Sorry, Guy.

I would be suicidal if something happened to my computer.

I agree. A mean thing to say. And my condolences, Guy. Laptop theft seems to be a big thing these days. My across-the-hall neighbors had two stolen last week; I even saw the two suspicious characters as they were leaving my apartment building. The incredible gall of it all leaves me speechless. This is why I’m sticking with my big ol clunky Dell here. No way are they gonna be stuffing THIS bad boy down their baggy pants.

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts, guys. I may be able to borrow another laptop within the next few days, so hopefully, I won’t be out of action for too long.
