‘Dear Zachary’ to air on MSNBC Jan. 4

Obviously, many of you already know my deep enthusiasm and respect for Kurt Kuenne’s passionate documentary “Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father.”  The film has already aired on MSNBC a couple of times, but if you missed it, be sure to give it a look this Sunday, Jan. 4 at 11:00 p.m. EST.  (Thanks to Sound Designer Dan for the tip.)

Here’s a great online Q&A with Kuenne.  And the trailer below.  Seriously, give this film a look if you can.  Just make sure you have Kleenex reinforcements.

I don’t think I have the words to express what this film meant to me. Although I never knew Andrew or anyone in his life I felt like I knew him by the time the show was over. My heart goes out to the family, his son and all that knew him.
Kuenne, you too are an amazing person. To do what you did for a friend and “brother” is beyond kind and loving. i did not finish the movie as I was writing this… and now I learn that Zachary was killed by that crazy woman. My heart is aching.
thank you for you love to this family and may g-d be good you Andrew’s parents and to you and your family.
