So people can’t argue with you now that you’ve made an unbiased WALL-E post. ;)

Darn tootin’. It’s the most festive image of the year, though, so there we are. :)

If you had to boil the movie year down to a few exclamations it would definitely be a whiny combination of EVVVEAHHH!!!! and LATIIIKAAAA!!!! Not complaining, I like both movies a lot, but WALL*E and Jamal are amazingly similar characters.

That’s a funny notion, Burma. What similarities do you see?

Just the relentless and irrational pursuit of the woman/machine they love. It works perfectly in the Dickensian fairy tale that is SLUMDOG but I actually think WALL-E verges on the creepy, as has been mentioned elsewhere.

I see through your ploy Kris…. I know what your doing here with this bull crap “positive” Wall-e post…. Lets examine this picture shall we? Perhaps we can see the hidden anti-wall-e messages that you have slung in there. Note Wall-e’s slanted head, he is questioning the very idea of a best picture nomination, actually, he is looking at the viewer stating “really? come on now… Did you see Dark Knight?” Note the red lights on Eve are the only ones that are connected to each other (colors usually change between each light). Its plain to see that they are telling us to STOP! before we make the big mistake of choosing Wall-e over Frost/Nixon. And if you look close at the reflection on Eve’s face, you can clearly see the face of Satan if you squint your eyes. So naturally, a vote for wall-e is a vote for Hell. Even the title “Christmas Eve-ah” obviously not a play on her name, instead it is a representation on where Wall-e Should be the night of the academy awards, much like X-mas eve, it should be celebrated before the real day……… Yes Mr.Tapley…. i know your tricks….

Regardless, its a pretty adorable picture. Happy Holidays everyone!

Thanks for reappropriating Poland’s annoyingly obscure semi-pun in such a way that now it actually makes sense.
