Just so you know, Boston just announced their winners, and it’s a tie between “Slumdog Millionaire” and “WALL-E” for Best Picture. Sally Hawkins wins Best Actress once again, while Penn and Rourke tie in the Lead Actor category.

See, I like the Vikings. A lot. I think they’re the best tam in football right now. But “you guys suck” is reason enough to hate a few of their fans, I have to say. Can’t blame them, I guess.

If you think they are the best team in football, you are crazy. Or maybe you meant they have the best Scottish caps in the biz. A little gentle ribbing never hurt anyone.

PS, please tell your team to show up to the next game. It will make it more exciting.

The best in football? The Vikings’ passing game is a joke. Top three in football: Colts, Steelers, Cowboys.

    Kris,

Take comfort in the fact that you aren’t a Lions fan like I am. :)

Bats: I really do think they’re the best team playing right now. Everyone’s firing on all cylinders and even with Gus on the bench, they put up a hell of a lot of points against a Cardinal team that is hardly a push over. Meanwhile, the Titans and the Giants are beginning to reveal chinks in the armor.

A Vikings/Panthers NFC championship game would not surprise me, so if you think it’s crazy, go back and watch the tape.

Zan: The Cowboys have too much inner drama and a coach that can’t handle it. It’s a powder keg, and regardless of Sunday night, it’s simply waiting to explode. The Steelers, meanwhile, have become the luckiest, most fortunate team in the league this year. Ben is on his ass half the time because they have the worst line in football and they certainly wouldn’t be where they are without a damn fine defense that keeps competitors from scoring.

You might have an argument for the Colts. They’re really turning it on lately.

Sigh…nice to get away from Oscar talk for a bit. And Zac, my sympathies. My girlfriend is from Detroit. Sour times indeed.
