I always love the artwork they plaser on the front and back facades of the Hotel Figueroa in downtown L.A. This shot was taken maybe a month ago; I just found it in my iPhone. There is a “Kung Fu Panda” DVD promotional job up there now, but on the backside, recently enough, there was a beautiful “Max Payne” painting that almost made one want to see the film. Almost.
Anyway, lazy Sunday. I thought I’d share.

Actually, the thing that leaps out at me most is the colour of that sky. I haven’t seen the likes of it since I left South Africa.
I want to move to LA, sharpish.
‘Tropic Thunder’ will definitely not get a nomination, but nice poster! Can’t wait to head out to L.A. for the first time in February!
