‘Seven Pounds’ trailer removed, BUT…

…Brad Brevet has his own embedding do-hickey over at Rope of Silicon, so you can still see it there.  Hopefully he won’t get a cease and desist for my linking to him, but there we are.  Sony apparently jerked the YouTube embed down due to “copyright infringement.”

I finally watched it, by the way (been so busy this morning I couldn’t stop to take a look earlier).  I’m comfortable saying I have no friggin’ idea what the film is about.

I think I have an idea what it’s about based on the trailer: It’s about a dude who did something so bad that he wants to help people so he commits suicide to give his organs to help said people.

In light of less than enthusiastic reaction to the Seven Pounds trailer, Sony announced they are suspending their ad campaign to focus on the economy.

Heh I didn’t get it either, but playing en ENTIRE track from The Island over it was as deceiving as the trailer for The Golden Age was last year. God I loved that trailer, but the film was so dull.
