Has anyone taken a moment to notice how friggin’ packed this Fall is set to be on the small screen? Just as far as the shows I watch (you guys may watch many more):

“Friday Night Lights,” “The Shield,” “Lost,” “Real Time with Bill Maher,” “Heroes,” “Entourage,” “Flight of the Conchords,” “The Office”…And then there’s the new stuff I’m interested in: “True Blood,” “Crusoe,” “My Own Worst Enemy”…oh yeah, and FOOTBALL.

Sheesh…

God, “Friday Night Lights.” That first season was perhaps television at its most perfect. So I couldn’t understand how the show got so bad just one season later. Even Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton weren’t enough to keep me from quitting, I became so disillusioned.

I stuck it through season two and liked it quite a bit. But it could have been better.

Kris, no Dexter? Shame on you:P However you’re forgiven for watching Lost, glad to see you’re a fan. In my opinion it’s the greatest TV show ever made; if they can rap it up as well as they rightfully should then that b0ld statement will be 100% the truth.

I actually hear that the second season got significantly better in the latter months, but I was so disheartened by the abysmal direction of the first few episodes that I quit the show just so that I could hold onto the fond memories of Season One. Between the rampant character assassination (especially Julie) and that goddamn murder subplot… it was too much at the time. Perhaps I’ll give it another shot.
