Seven-minute ‘Other Man’ preview/trailer/thing

Posted by · 6:59 am · August 20th, 2008

Richard Eyre’s latest hasn’t landed domestic distribution yet, but it could be a great vehicle for stars Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Antonio Banderas and Romola Garai.

UPDATE (5:04 p.m.): As it turns out, the footage that was in this space was a promo reel meant for distributors, not for audiences.  It’s been yanked from YouTube, so if you saw it, consider yourselves lucky.

This looks great, a little long but great but then again its a preview.

Linney seems to have a smaller role compared to Neeson, Banderas and Garai.

Dare I hope this does for Garai what Atonement didn’t do!!

    I hope its well recieved.

I hope this is finally Neeson’s return to Oscars after a few of horrible snubs (Michael Collins and Kinsey especially) and I love his third reunion with Laura Linney (The Crucible Play and Kinsey) and maybe an Oscar Nomination to Best Supporting Actress to Romola Garai

I was really dissapointed by Notes on a scandal, and this looks worse . Judging by the trailer Neeson has done better work and Antonio Banderas looks awful. Linney’s role looks rather small (what’s her accent in this?); the only hope I see for this is Romola Garai.

I don’t know. I liked Notes on a Scandal a lot but I don’t get Neeson’s (his character’s) motivation to go so far, for what? I’m interested in seeing this but that footage didn’t exactly win me over.

Oh Buffy this is excellent! Your movie rweveis are wonderful and oh so useful for us chows (and we have the same taste in them it seems). How did I miss this before, or is it new? I happened upon it when I was looking to see if you had any posts (my mom and I are starting to suffer withdrawal from the lack of laughing at your new posts).Hope all is well with your knee these days,Special DarkP.S. Don’t know if you like this sort of thing but the show Gilmore Girls DOES in fact have some chows in a few episodes!!
